Anecdotal Puffery

Updated: Mar 19, 2021

As the attack on American’s 2nd Amendment rights advances across the nation, founder of Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America, Shannon Watts uses her prowess in propaganda to target women actually #DoingSomething to bring solutions to the forefront of the “Gun Debates.”

Pictured above are women in teal of The DC Project, which has grown out of the onslaught of these attacks on individual liberties. The DC Project is a nonpartisan, educational initiative for Gun Rights- who brings women together from all over the country, to share their stories of survival and dedication to preserving their rights to personal protection and self awareness. Their mission, as women, is to put a face to a story of empowerment in front of every legislator throughout the United States, showing them that the "Gun World" is not just about "Big Boys & Big Toys." The women behind The DC Project are educators, medical professionals, homemakers, law enforcement officers, engineers... the titles are vast, and they have one goal in common: PROTECTING WOMEN'S RIGHTS.

Shannon Watts, founder of Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America, who is also a self described advocate for women's rights, does NOT think that one... especially a woman... should have opportunity and immediate access to be able to exercise their 2nd Amendment Right above all else. Her platform, which is a cookie cutter model for anyone pushing Gun Control, makes note of the many lives of women taken due to Gun Violence in America- through serious issues like Domestic Violence. What she does NOT advocate for, are the many MORE women in America who have taken back control of their own lives, by exercising their Right to Self Defensive measures. So, is Shannon Watts, founder of Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America, REALLY an Activist for Women's Rights? As in the above picture, Watts takes a moment to discredit the work that women, like those of The DC Project are doing, who educate women and families on their RIGHTS to self protection. The DC Project is not a group of women pushing guns into the arms of other women in America- the opposite of what Watts and Moms Demand Action are doing: who are actually working to take AWAY the opportunities for women to choose to protect themselves. Instead, The DC Project is uniting women from other organizations and groups, to promote the exploration of opportunities that could help save women's lives, IF needed. The DC Project is also working tirelessly to communicate with government legislators to HOLD CRIMINALS ACCOUNTABLE, so that NO more innocent women will FALL VICTIM to harm.

So is it really "Anecdotal Puffery" for women to come together to help other women and their families grow as a national community for Women's Rights of Self Protection?

Shannon Watts, a former PR Professional for controversial companies like, WellPoint (Blue Cross Blue Shield) and Monsanto (Round Up) knows all too well the definition of what "Anecdotal Puffery" is. As Mom-At-Arms and other outlets have already proven, Watts' entire platform and Gun Control stance came from such puffed up anecdotes of "faking it till making it" for her astroturf organization, Moms Demand Action:

This article could go on for days with every moment that Shannon Watts, founder of Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America, has made some ignorant or bias filled, unsubstantiated claim on Gun Violence (that's what the rest of the Mom-At-Arms articles are for, by the way). Rather than boring you with every detail of her existence and why she hates American Freedoms so much, we will leave you with this... if you've not seen it already...

Rather than demeaning women who are ACTUALLY #DoingSomething to find justice and council for other women, like that of Shannon Watts' own daughter- who was raped by an acquaintance (yet Watts has admittedly "let go" to possibly rape other women), Watts would do well by using her platform and skills to empower women to find tangible solutions to such atrocities that women face throughout the nation- like rape and domestic violence. Then again, unlike The DC Project who doesn't have major funding from mega- Billionaire politicians like Michael Bloomberg, Shannon Watts can sit on her puffy throne of anecdotes, reaping the benefits of capitalizing off of promoting Victimhood onto Women.
