Moms Demand Action is pulling a nice little stunt today:
On Saturday morning, Mitchell will march with other members of Moms Demand Action from Indiana to Illinois to highlight how easily guns are trafficked across state lines. The group will gather at 9:30 a.m. at Wolf Lake Memorial Park in Hamond and walk about 3 1/2 miles to Calumet Beach State Park. Anyone can join the march.
Interatate travel on foot should be restricted? Not seeing what walking across state lines legally is proving. If you want to make a point, go ”easily” buy a gun in Indiana and walk it across state lines, walk to Chicago and then turn it in to a police department. Reminder, that in doing so, you’ll be breaking a bunch of federal and IL laws, but go ahead, prove your point. Do it.
As to Brenda Mitchell, I’m sorry for the loss of your son. The individual who killed him is to blame, and the fact you’re in cahoots with a group such as Moms Demand Action that is using your pain in order to get publicity and support for SB1966 should tell you you’re being used. Unfortunately, it’s likely that doesnt bother you.
