Louisville mayor (and good friend of Moms Demand/Everytown) is in hot water over Breonna Taylor

We all know about the death/murder of Breonna Taylor at the hands of the Louisville Metro PD by now. Most also know by now that Louisville Metro PD’s leadership is BFF’s with Moms Demand Action. It should also come as no surprise that the Louisville mayor is a great ally of Everytown/Moms Demand (see here, here, here, here):

Well, some interesting new details came out in regards to Fischer and the Breonna Taylor case:

Mayor Greg Fischer called allegations that a redevelopment project contributed to the death of Breonna Taylor outrageous and nefarious.
Fischer held a news conference Thursday to shed some light on the Russell neighborhood redevelopment plan, also called Vision Russell, which has come under scrutiny after recent claims by Taylor's family's attorneys.
The attorneys claim Louisville Metro Police more aggressively pursued a drug case against Jamarcus Glover, who they say is Taylor's ex-boyfriend, and others, because of where they allegedly operated -- a home on Elliott Avenue in the heart of Russell.
The attorneys claim certain "lingering" homes and people remained an obstacle to the redevelopment plans, including Glover. They said a dedicated squad within LMPD's Criminal Interdiction Unit called Place Based Investigations was tasked with focusing on certain areas which needed to be "cleared" for real estate development.
On March 12, officers with the CID obtained five search warrants related to their investigation of Glover. Three were for homes on Elliott Avenue, one was for a residence on Muhammad Ali Boulevard and the fifth was for Breonna Taylor's apartment 10 miles from Elliott Avenue.

Here’s the Vision Russell plan. Now, On top of that:

A Metro Council committee has filed an order to launch an investigation into Mayor Greg Fischer.
They committee said it is demanding transparency from the administration in its handling of the cases for Breonna Taylor, David McAtee and protests following their deaths.
According to the order, Metro Council wants relevant documents released, along with identifying any shortcomings in police training -- specifically the execution of no-knock warrants in the middle of the night.

And the result after the committee vote?

Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer's handling of the Breonna Taylor case, the death of David McAtee and the protests that followed will soon be investigated.
The Government Oversight and Audit Committee (GOA) of the Louisville Metro Council filed an order Monday to officially launch an investigation "into the action and inaction of the Fischer Administration," according to a press release from the city.
Though it has not happened yet and there is no timeline to finish the investigation, the GOA plans to subpoena former Louisville Metro Police Department Chief Steve Conrad and current Chief Robert Schroeder as part of their investigation, according to the release.

So, the mayor (Moms Demand/Everytown ally) will be under investigation, and former LMPD Chief at the time of the murder (also a Moms Demand ally) will be subpoenaed in relation to Breonna’s death at the hands of his officers. Not good news for the “woke” folks at Everytown and their red shirt wearing moms at all.
