On July 4th, 2022, as a community came together to celebrate during the Independence Day parade in Highland Park, Illinois, a deranged individual used the event to carry out a sinister plan that ended in tragedy. Many innocent lives were lost, and as all who were involved in that day have been trying to process since, like clockwork, certain politicians have taken advantage of the victim's circumstances to push their own political agendas; especially gun control.
Rep. Jonathan Carroll (D57) happens to be one of those politicians standing on the stories of victims for his political agenda. A Mom-At-Arms contributor and Illinois resident "President Non_Fudd" challenged Carroll with facts, which led to an interesting discussion... and lots of ranting from the state representative on Twitter.

And Rep. John Carroll didn’t like that, so he went on a Twitter rant...
Deflection and change of subject, Rep. Carroll saw that his argument wasn't working so he had to bring up Trump and the NRA to feed his trolls in waiting. Buuuuut... it didn't work.
Where "gun facts" from "gun nuts" seemed to boost Rep. Carroll's ego founded in gun control, Founder/ Owner of Mom-At-Arms, known as "JillyOYo!" caught wind of the discussion and sent Carroll into a tailspin...
Where Gun Control Extremists like to hit Gun Rights Advocates below the belt by bringing up personal reasons as to why we own firearms (like when they say we're bad parents for having guns in our homes), Jill used that same psychology... but with tact and hardcore facts, and Carroll found himself in a losing battle.
You don't mess with "THE MAA!" (Especially when it comes to children)
And then she hit him with a FACT BOMB that most teachers learn in their training, but he could not comprehend...
His lack of comprehension had him questioning Jill's basic logic, that he twisted her words completely. So, she dumbed it down for him even more...
And not only did she school him in logic, she got him to admit he had and agenda... and this backfired on him as well....
Rep. John Carroll, a self claimed proponent for "Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of happiness," but also pushes gun control laws. Weird. He also introduced legislation not too long ago to coerce/“extort” people who are unvaccinated against C19, by making it their responsibility to pay for any and all medical costs if they caught the illness (insurance would not be allowed to cover it). Weird...
Kind of the opposite of "Liberty," but fortunately Mom-At-Arms' founder took a moment to school him...
Ouch! Looks like Illinois State Representative (D57) and former Special Education Teacher, Jonathan Carroll just failed the test on oppression. His agenda is clear, he's for "Life, if he sees it useful... Liberty, per his terms... and the Pursuit of votes, cause that's what makes him happy."
