Moms Demand Action tricking African American gun club into PR stunt

Updated: Nov 24, 2020

Scrolling through Shannon Watts’s twitter feed, I came across a tweet she “liked”:

Now before we say more, let me be clear: We applaud people getting armed and exercising their rights, and have often said (because it’s true) that gun control has its roots in racism. So before you piss in the Cheerios of Moms Demand Action and help show the Huey P. Newton Gun Club who Moms Demand Action/Everytown really are, more on the gun club:

The Huey P. Newton Gun Club is a coalition of members from various different groups/organizations coming together in unity to practice our 2nd amendment right "To bear Arms". Our mission is to educate the masses of people on the necessity of self. That includes self-preservation, self-defense, and self-sufficiency through militant culture. Safety, caution, and attention to detail are at the core of our way of life. We desire a world of peace, justice, and equality for all humanity, and specifically people of color.

Check it out and read through the site. They are pro-2A, encourage that people be armed, advocate for open carry, etc etc etc. Hell, the chapter that MDA did this stunt with has an AR on their logo:

But this isn’t going to be about the Huey P. Newton Gun Club, it’s going to be about those Moms Demand Action activists using them for a PR stunt (and nothing more). You see, BeSMART is a “gateway drug” into Moms Demand Action Activism. Click here for more, but here’s a preview (they tried to get a firearms training center to participate in one of their events. They had no idea BeSMART was connected to MDA). Here’s the area BeSMART/MDA lead and the response from the training center when they found out:

Lets not even get into the fact that Moms Demand BeSMART leads “take orders” from a sitting anti-gun US Congressman in order to recruit school age kids for gun control groups:

The Huey P. Newton Gun Club exercises both their 1A and 2A rights, such as during open carry marches and protests. They also carry/own the same weapons Everytown/Moms Demand Action activists want banned (not to mention open carry):

So now let’s get back to how full of shit Moms Demand Action (especially Shannon Watts) are. Over the weekend, Local groups (including a Black Lives Matter chapter) marched in Richmond, Virginia to defy a new gun control ordinance:

What did Shannon (leader of Moms Demand Action) want to happen because of the defiance of this new BS law?

BLM 757 (Richmond area code btw) is right: Moms Demand and Everytown don‘t speak for the black community. How could they, they don’t even treat their own black/minority employees right and the complaints are documented!

Don’t take it from us though, take it from the Firearms Policy Coalition (who used our articles to make this lol):

To close, any second amendment rights group needs to know who Moms Demand Action/Everytown/BeSMART are. They are not your friends. They will use you and your groups for a PR stunt in order to claim they’re “pro-2A”. Hell, their own money man (funds them) was responsible for this:

Former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg reportedly argued Friday that guns need to be kept out of the hands of minorities in order to keep them alive.
While speaking at the Aspen Institute, Mr. Bloomberg, 72, said 95 percent of murders fall into a specific category: a male minority between the ages of 15 and 25, The Aspen Times reported.
Cities need to get guns out of this group’s hands and keep them alive, the former three-term mayor said, according to The Times.
“These kids think they’re going to get killed anyway because all their friends are getting killed,” said Mr. Bloomberg, who funds the gun-control advocacy group Everytown for Gun Safety. “They just don’t have any long-term focus or anything. It’s a joke to have a gun. It’s a joke to pull a trigger.”
Mr. Bloomberg brought up the New York Police Department’s stop-and-frisk practices, recalling a time during his last year in office when a Baptist minster in Harlem invited him to speak at their church, The Times reported.
“While I’m sitting there waiting for him to introduce me, he said to his congregation, ‘You know, if every one of you stopped and frisked your kid before they went out at night, the mayor wouldn’t have to do it,’” Mr. Bloombergsaid. “And so I knew I was going to be OK with that audience.”
