Burglars Demand Action For Gun Sense In America

Updated: May 2

Michael Bloomberg’s gun control group is no stranger to working with corrupt and criminal politicians. Been that way for years. Heck, it goes back to before Everytown and Moms Demand Action existed! Here’s 11/29/13 (more importance on that date and this article in a second):

They call themselves Mayors Against Illegal Guns. But apparently not all of them are against all illegal activity.
MAIG was co-founded in 2006 by Michael Bloomberg and his counterpart in Boston, Thomas Menino.
But come January, the two men will be out of office. When they depart, attention will likely focus on some of their less well-known members — and that could be a problem.
The latest of the legally challenged is Mayor Gordon Jenkins of Monticello, NY. Last week, he was arrested for driving under the influence and for literally punching a police department clock, which forced cops to handcuff him to a chair.

He’s not alone. Over in Spring Valley, Mayor Noramie Jasmin was arrested for accepting bribes from an FBI informant in April. In Marcus Hook, Pa., Mayor James Schiliro was arrested for reckless endangerment after firing a handgun inside his home during a drunken argument.
Down in Gainesville, Fla., Mayor Craig Lowe was charged with a DUI after being found asleep at the scene of a car accident. Meanwhile, other MAIG members from Hartford to Detroit have found themselves facing prosecutors over charges that include felony corruption, assault and attempted sex crimes with a child.
Clearly MAIG needs tougher screening — or a more accurate name.

So, why is 11/28/13 interesting? Cuz, in part, to rebrand and get rid of that name as the main front org, Moms Demand Action merged with MAIG a month later to rebrand into Everytown For Gun Safety lol.

Now, over the last decade, many allies (members of the new MAIG and endorsed politicians) have been involved in controversy. Recently, this guy, NJ Senator Bob Menendez, got in a lot of trouble (and is currently in court) in September of 2023:

Damian Williams, the United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York, and James Smith, the Assistant Director in Charge of the New York Field Office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (“FBI”), announced that an Indictment was unsealed this morning charging U.S. Senator ROBERT MENENDEZ, his wife NADINE MENENDEZ, a/k/a “Nadine Arslanian,” and three New Jersey businessmen, WAEL HANA, a/k/a “Will Hana,” JOSE URIBE, and FRED DAIBES, with participating in a years-long bribery scheme. The Indictment alleges that MENENDEZ and his wife, NADINE MENENDEZ, accepted hundreds of thousands of dollars of bribes from HANA, URIBE, and DAIBES in exchange for MENENDEZ’s agreement to use his official position to protect and enrich them and to benefit the Government of Egypt. Among other things, MENENDEZ agreed and sought to pressure a senior official at the U.S. Department of Agriculture in an effort to protect a business monopoly granted to HANA by Egypt, disrupt a criminal case undertaken by the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office related to associates of URIBE, and disrupt a federal criminal prosecution brought by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of New Jersey against DAIBES. MENENDEZ, NADINE MENENDEZ, HANA, URIBE, and DAIBES are expected to appear in federal court in Manhattan on Wednesday, September 27, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. The case is assigned to U.S. District Judge Sidney H. Stein.

Yep, acting as a foreign agent against the US. What a guy, and of course, he is all for eroding the 2A. Let’s not forget this hypocrite either. From 2021:

Rochester Mayor Lovely Warren was facing criminal charges Friday including weapon possession and child endangerment in connection with a May search of the home she shares with her husband, the first charges against her in connection to the raid.
A grand jury indicted Warren and her husband Timothy Granison on a felony count of criminal possession of a firearm, as well as two misdemeanor counts of endangering the welfare of a child, Monroe County District Attorney Sandra Doorley said in a statement.
They were also charged with a misdemeanor violation of the Rochester city code for having unsecured weapons.

Now, let’s get to another stand up character that this group endorses, Minnesota Senator Nicole Mitchell.

Mitchell has been a key vote for gun control in the MN senate. In fact, here she is with Moms Demand Action pushing for gun control on 4/16/24:

That was on a Thursday. What happened over the weekend?

DETROIT LAKES, Minn. (Valley News Live) - Newly filed court documents detail what lead up to the arrest of 49-year-old Nicole Mitchell, a Democratic Minnesota State Senator of District 47 early Monday morning.
Court documents say around 4:45am Monday morning, Detroit Lakes police officers were called to a home off of Granger Road and Long Avenue after the homeowner called 911 to report that someone was in her home. The caller told police that the intruder ran into the basement of the home.
Police say when they got there, they found Mitchell, dressed in all black clothing, and ordered her to the ground and placed her under arrest. Police say while Mitchell was being detained, she said, “I was just trying to get a couple of my dad’s things because you wouldn’t talk to me anymore.” Officers also noted that Mitchell had a flashlight that was covered by a black sock.
Through further investigation, police determined that Mitchell got into the home through a window of the basement. Police found a backpack that Mitchell had with two laptops, a cell phone, Mitchell’s Minnesota driver’s license, her Senate identification and miscellaneous Tupperware. Mitchell told officers that the laptops were hers and that she had “just gotten into the house” and “clearly, I’m not good at this.”
Mitchell later admitted to police, “I know I did something bad.” Mitchell told officers that her dad recently passed away and that her stepmother ceased all communication with her and other family members. Mitchell told officers that she wanted some pictures, her father’s flannel shirt, his ashes and other items of sentimental value.

Yep, she burglarized her step-mom’s home. She also attempted to make light of the felony she was arrested for.

Here’s the police report (and charges) of what really happened.

Of course, being the crooks they are, the MN DFL Is allowing Mitchell to partake in votes because she is the tie breaker. She will be voting for the gun control they will help keep her safe in the off hours.

Such standup people this organization associates itself with, eh? Oh yeah, don’t forget this candidate either. Talk about “demanding action”……

RICHMOND — A Democrat running for a crucial seat in Virginia’s House of Delegates performed sex acts with her husband for a live online audience and encouraged viewers to pay them with “tips” for specific requests, according to online videos viewed by The Washington Post.

Susanna Gibson, a nurse practitioner and mother of two young children running in a highly competitive suburban Richmond district, streamed sex acts on Chaturbate, a platform that says it takes its name from “the act of masturbating while chatting online.”
Chaturbate videos are streamed live on that site and are often archived on other publicly available sites. More than a dozen videos of the couple captured from the Chaturbate stream were archived on one of those sites — Recurbate — in September 2022, after she entered the race. The most recent were two videos archived on Sept. 30, 2022. It is unclear when the live stream occurred.

Quick update 5/2:

The victim in Senator Mitchell’s crime believes the Senator was trying to hurt her

The stepmother of DFL state Sen. Nicole Mitchell says she remains fearful more than a week after her stepdaughter’s arrest for allegedly burglarizing her home in Detroit Lakes.
“She was dressed like a burglar at the foot of my bed…I get goosebumps just talking about it,” 74-year-old Carol Mitchell told 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS in a phone interview this week. Carol was married to Nicole’s father until he died in March 2023.
“You don’t make a care call in the middle of the night in a bandit outfit,” Carol said regarding Nicole’s assertion she was there to check on her.
When Nicole was arrested in Carol’s basement by Detroit Lakes Police, a criminal complaint says they “located a female dressed in all black clothing and a black hat. The female, later identified as Nicole Lynn Mitchell, was ordered to the ground and placed under arrest.” The complaint also says she was wearing a black hat and had a black sock pulled over a flashlight.
