Virginia Democrats: Part 2 (An Assessment)

Updated: Nov 1, 2019

Alt-Right "White" Supremacy Groups marching at the Unite The Right Rally in Charlottesville, VA August 11/12, 2017

Let's take it back to 2017 and then some for a little bit...

On August 11th & 12th, 2017, the Unite The Right Rally in Charlottesville, VA became famous for more than just a bunch of "wy-pi-po" (slang for White People) chanting Trump's name as they defended historical Civil War monuments in the town's center. As a matter of fact, it became a monumental occasion itself, as it exemplified the ever growing racial divide in the Northern Virginia area. It also became a skid mark in Virginia's history, with the death of Virginia Paralegal and Civil Rights Activist, Heather Heyer - when far-right, white supremacist from OHIO, James A. Fields, Jr. barreled through the crowd in his car, killing Heyer and injuring 19 others.

Heather Heyer: May 29 1985 to August 12 2017

The Unite The Right rally became an over crowded mess. Simply put. Protesters from all sides of political views became unruly and chaotic. What was SUPPOSED to be a peaceful protest against the destruction of history, became a massive cluster on a grand scale- where RACE became a factor. NO ONE COULD'VE PLANNED WELL ENOUGH FOR IT!

Yet the death of Left Wing Activist, Heather Heyer created a wave of discourse within the media. President Trump who immediately gave a speech of that horrible day, stated that there were many, on both sides, who did wrong. His statements are very correct, yet his passing on outspokenly condemning the "White Supremacy" groups that participated in the acts of the rally, has garnered him much scrutiny to this day (over a year, plus, later)- totally disregarding the hate and violence

that happened FROM BOTH SIDES of the controversy.

Let's time hop for a sec...

On April 12, 2016, Charlottesville, VA City Manager, Maurice Jones announced the news of a wonderful addition of new leadership within the C-Ville Police Department. Virginia Resident Police Chief, Alfred S. Thomas, Jr. who originally served years prior as Lexington, VA's Police Chief... and before that... 20 years with the Lynchburg, VA Police Department was coming to town. His outstanding credentials met all the standards of any Police Officer in the Commonwealth of Virginia to rise to a more substantial supervisory role. His reputation to be a fair, proactive and interpersonal leader helped guarantee his spot as Charlottesville, VA Police Chief... that is, until August 11th & 12th, 2018... the day(s) of the Unite The Right Rally.

Chief Alfred S. Thomas, Jr also served as THE FIRST AFRICAN AMERICAN POLICE CHIEF IN CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA. (Let that sink in then look at the linked scenarios below!)

Months prior to the Unite The Right Rally, Black Lives Matter Activists criticized the Charlottesville, VA Police Department after an investigation done by Hillary Clinton's former campaign director, Judd Legum's Left Wing News Site, ThinkProgress, when it put out its stats on black arrests vs. white arrests in the area.

This led to a crap storm of controversy for Chief Thomas. After the Unite The Right rally, the City of Charlottesville, VA hired former U.S. Attorney under the OBAMA Administration, Tim Heaphy to investigate the actions of Charlottesville Police on August 11th, & 12th, 2018.

You following so far?

Let's go back a little further...

Unite The Right: Investigations

Timothy J. Heaphy was nominated by former President Barack Obama to become the United States Attorney for the Western District of Virginia on December 11, 2009. In December of 2014, Heaphy left the U.S. Attorney's office to start his own, private practice.

Prior to his resignation, Heaphy became well known within the Obama admin. ESPECIALLY ONE at the forefront of GUN CONTROL TOPICS. Makes sense, considering his boss is /was the one and only,
