Nothing like trying to use fear tactics about “gun violence“ to raise money to help your efforts to shut down FFL’s and enact your agenda, am I right? They’re just mad people are buying guns (and the Chicago shootings have nothing to do with uptick in LEGAL gun sales). Unless they can prove that any of these shootings listed are done by recent gun owners that bought them legally during the COVID-19 crisis, their argument is moot.
They (NRA) did assist in one of the lawsuits, but the smaller orgs have been leading the charge

In fact, it's looking as if NRA is most notable for its complete *absence* from the battlefield.
FPC and the 2AF have really upped their game during the current crisis :)
What's amusing is that despite Rob's standard lies, "the NRA" hasn't done squat, except publicly congratulate itself for the speedy courtroom victories that ere the work of two entirely unaffiliated national gun rights organizations.
